# Deployments

Deployments are instances of the Dragobits contracts, in a particular version, deployed to a specific EVM chain. Similar to Ethereum's decentralization stages, Dragobit versions are also called "[**Stages**](/game/deployments/editor.md)". A deployment of a specific stage to a particular chain is called an "[**Instance**](/game/deployments/markdown.md)".
